Tyler joined the Dehns Birmingham office in September 2024 as a Trainee Patent Attorney, having graduated from the University of Oxford in 2024 with an MPhys in Physics. His final year thesis was completed in the Johnston Group with a research focus on terahertz photonics. His thesis was titled ‘Terahertz single-pixel imaging’, in which he investigated using compressed sensing to obtain a high-resolution terahertz image using only a single detector.
Tyler’s work is predominantly in the engineering and physics fields, with subject matter including tobacco industry products, domestic appliances and electronics.
